"I breathe every day — so why would I need a Breathwork teacher?!"
That's exactly what I said five years ago when Charlotte suggested we go on a 4-day retreat to the Cliffs of Moher for breathwork and ice baths.
Those four days changed everything.
We'd had a family tragedy and I was losing myself. But the breath and the ice found me again.
I've since trained as a Master Breathwork Teacher & Ice Bath Teacher with The Blissful Breath Academy in Ireland — not only to deepen my own practice, but to share these tools with others. The same tools that helped me find calm, manage anxiety, and handle the stresses of everyday life.
If I can go from sceptic to teacher, anyone can start this journey.
Master Breathwork Teachers
Master Breathwork Teachers
We're proud to say we completed our Master Breathwork Teacher training at the end of 2025 — after two years of learning with The Blissful Breath Academy.
But if anything, this is just the beginning.
To be compassionate breathwork teachers, we must continue to uphold the foundations of what we've learned. Our mentor Niall set three obligations that all Masters follow:
1. Explore all types of breathing There are so many forms of breathwork in the world — something for everyone. By staying curious and open, we keep learning and discovering new ways to support those we guide.
2. Practise deeply We can only guide as far as we've been ourselves. Deep, ongoing practice isn't just homework — it's a gift for life. It helps us understand where others can go, because we've been there too.
3. Share what you learn Breathwork is life-changing — whether in small moments or profound shifts. It can calm you, bring clarity, ease suffering, improve health, and even bring you closer to the people around you. By sharing what we've experienced, with those we guide and our fellow teachers, the ripple keeps spreading.
